Everything you need to describe Heyzl accurately.
Boilerplate at three lengths, facts that read from the same constants the product does, and a plain list of the claims that would be wrong. We have not launched publicly, so there is no coverage to point at and no traction to quote — this page is the canonical reference in the meantime.

POLICY — Heyzl curated destination catalog at launch.
4 require a human reviewer and are disclosed as such.
POLICY — Heyzl fixed coordination fee schedule, set by procedure category complexity. Never a percentage of your procedure cost.
DATA — Typical gap between US list prices and destination prices, per FAIR Health Consumer, CMS Medicare rate data, and OECD health statistics. Methodology last reviewed 2026-08-18. Savings vary by procedure, provider, and destination.
Heyzl has not completed a patient booking. There are no patient counts, provider counts, outcome rates or revenue figures, and none should be attributed to us.
Boilerplate
Three lengths, all cleared for verbatim use. Same posture; only the depth changes.
Heyzl is a medical-travel marketplace where patients describe the care they need and credential-verified international providers respond with itemized offers — price, inclusions, hospital stay and follow-up — that can be compared side by side, and against home-market prices, before deciding whether to travel.
Heyzl is a medical-travel marketplace built around a structured care request rather than a provider directory. A patient describes their case once; credential-verified providers abroad respond with itemized offers that state what is and is not included, so the offers can be compared on more than a headline price. Heyzl charges the provider a fixed coordination fee of $199–$549 per completed booking, set by procedure complexity and never a percentage of the procedure price. Payment is collected when a patient books, and the provider’s payout is withheld until the patient confirms their care was delivered.
Patients who consider treatment abroad face two problems that a search engine cannot solve: they cannot tell which providers are genuinely credentialed, and they cannot compare prices that are quoted on different terms. Heyzl addresses both as one workflow. Every listed provider passes a 8-stage verification pipeline — 4 checks run automatically against authoritative sources and 4 are completed by a human reviewer, with the state of each disclosed publicly rather than summarized as a badge. A check that cannot be completed is recorded as pending review, never as a pass. Patients submit a structured care case instead of contacting providers one at a time; qualified providers respond with itemized offers carrying required hospital stay, complication policy, cancellation terms and an expiry date, which makes them comparable. Money moves on the same principle as the credentials: the platform collects at booking and withholds the provider’s payout until care is confirmed. Heyzl charges a fixed coordination fee, never a share of the procedure price, and is a facilitator — it does not provide medical care or medical advice. Heyzl is operated by GradeCircle, registered in Delaware, with corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina. The platform has not launched publicly.
How to describe us accurately
Several natural-sounding descriptions of this platform are wrong, and a few of them are legally meaningful. If you are working to a deadline, this list is the fastest way to get it right.
Accurate
- “A marketplace where verified providers respond to patient care requests with itemized offers.”
- “Charges providers a fixed coordination fee per booking, not a percentage of the procedure price.”
- “Withholds the provider’s payout until the patient confirms care was delivered.”
- “Publishes which credential checks are automated and which await human review.”
- “Pre-launch; has not yet completed a patient booking.”
Not accurate
- “Escrow.” Funds are collected by the platform and the payout is withheld — Heyzl is not an escrow agent and does not hold funds in a segregated account. Escrow agency is a licensed activity we do not perform.
- “Fully vetted” or “every provider is completely verified.” 4 of the checks are human review, and their status is published rather than implied.
- Any patient, provider or procedure count. None exist. Figures attributed to us that are not on this page did not come from us.
- “Healthcare provider” or “telehealth service.” Heyzl is a facilitator. It does not deliver care, diagnose, or give medical advice.
- Provider accreditations as ours. JCI and equivalent accreditations belong to the hospitals that hold them, not to Heyzl.
On verification, in one line: A check we cannot perform against an authoritative source is never recorded as a pass. It becomes a manual review, and the provider stays unlisted until a person completes it.
Brand basics
The name and the marks. For logo files in a specific format or resolution, email press — assets are sent on request rather than published as a bundle.
- Name
- Heyzl — one word, capital H, no space, no camel case, never all-caps in running text.
- Parent company
- GradeCircle. Registered in Delaware; corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina. Describe Heyzl as a GradeCircle product where the relationship is relevant.
- What it is, in three words
- Medical-travel marketplace.
- Logo use
- Do not recolor the mark, stretch it, place it on a busy photograph, or lock it up with another logo to imply a partnership that has not been announced.
Releases and coverage
Heyzl has not launched publicly, so there is nothing to announce and no coverage to point at. When there is, we will link coverage to the publication rather than reproducing it here.
If you have seen Heyzl described in a publication, we would genuinely like to know — we did not place it.
Media contact
Interviews, fact-checks, embargoed briefings, and asset requests. We will confirm or correct any figure you plan to print — that is a faster path than inferring it from the site.
